BNA TCL has a independent product development team that that undertakes research in IT based solutions (ITBS) and IT enabled solutions (ITES). BNA TCL has a proven track record for identifying traditional problems, drawing up the specifications, Designing, Commissioning and Maintenance of large scale projects. For these IT based projects the Company follows what it calls the ‘blue ocean strategy’ by which it creates specific niche areas within IT services through innovations, using its own Research on new generation products and services, and in the process defines its own competitive space. Many of its innovative and differentiated products and solutions in Managed Services segments have been direct result of this strategy. Couple of huge projects include Issuing the first computerised Election ID cards and Voters list in many parts of India and the Computerised Queue Management system for TTD, Tirupati, for which the company was nominated for "the best IT Solutions" award from CSI for the year 1999.
